Hi! I'm Tess Freedel — a Senior Content Designer and UX Strategist based in San Diego with 7+ years of experience crafting user-centered digital experiences across web, mobile, voice, and chatbot interfaces.

I've spent the past 3+ years leading content strategy and UX writing at Cigna/Evernorth, where I worked within an internal agency model delivering enterprise-scale projects — from identity governance redesigns and AI tool rollouts to change management content serving 140,000+ employees. Before that, I led email marketing and conversion strategy at Trupanion, collaborating with compliance and legal teams across multiple states.

I work in agile environments using Figma, Figjam, Jira, Confluence, SharePoint, and Microsoft Copilot. I bring deep experience in content governance, plain-language writing for complex topics, and research-driven iteration.

Based in San Diego, I travel to New York frequently and am open to remote, hybrid, or on-site arrangements. Currently available for full-time, contract, or fractional roles.
